Water taxis or ferryboats are available to and from Magic Kingdom resorts, to and from EPCOT resorts and Hollywood Studios, as well as the Disney Springs area and resorts. The open air, scenic ride is rarely hit with traffic, unless you’re waiting for another boat to dock, and they’re still accessibility-friendly. Taking a boat gives a totally different view of the scenery between the parks and resorts that you can’t get anywhere else.īoats are always a fun option at Disney, because it feels like you’re getting another ride under your belt on the way to the parks or resorts. For just a slightly higher price, you and your family can ride in comfort, make personal stops and even get help with your luggage.
Keep in mind these don’t fully replace the Magical Express, as your luggage is your responsibility and won’t be delivered right to your room.įor a more exclusive experience, you may want to opt for a private car service. If Magical Express was your cup of tea, Mears Connect and Sunshine Flyer offer similar transportation service from the airport to your Orlando hotel. If you rent, just remember to account for any tolls en route, and parking fees once you reach your resort. Rentals are a great option if you plan to drive to and from the parks, if you’re staying off property or if you plan to stock up on groceries and toiletries before or during your trip. Many families choose to rent cars right at the airport, especially if they’ll need to also rent car seats and/or strollers. And while the fan-favorite Magical Express was decommissioned back in January of 2022, you won’t be stranded. If flying to Orlando, you’ll likely begin your Disney experience at the airport.
